Hardware, Maintenance and Support Services Branch Management

  • To take all necessary precautions and develop work procedures for the smooth operation
    of servers and the equipment connected to these systems.
  • Creating computer user accounts, performing all kinds of transactions related to e-mail
    and internet accounts, and monitoring and controlling internet traffic.
  • To ensure the uninterrupted publication of our university's websites, to periodically
    perform leak tests and in addition to reporting, to close the report gaps, if any.
  • To ensure that the configuration of network devices (Router, Switch, Firewall, IPS etc.)
    and their operating systems and software are periodically updated.
  • To develop security-related standards in the computer network and systems of our
    university. To determine the principles regarding confidentiality, password, authority and
    responsibility. And to take measures accordingly, follow up its implementation and
    ensure the necessary coordination.
  • Developing security policies for all users and computers on the network. Installing the
    operating system and other programs and ensuring that antivirus updates are made
    periodically.
