SERVER ROOM INFRASTRUCTURE AND CABLING WORK IS PROGRESSING RAPIDLY

Cabling works for the infrastructure of our university's server room and wireless access points at the endpoints are continuing rapidly.

The necessary reinforcement of the walls of the server room, fire-proof wall insulation, painting processes, and raised floor work are being carried out. All materials and construction works are carried out according to the standards set for the construction of server rooms. High protection is provided especially against fire, flood, cold and man-made damages.

Wireless access will be provided at 150 points in our campus and buildings and will be made available to students and staff. For this, cabling works are continuing in parallel with the server room works. Cable pulling and cable terminations were carried out at ALTSO Vocational School. With the ongoing work in the Faculties of Engineering and Business Administration, the cabling process will be started in other units.
